The high quality castings are imported, but the components critical to the drag system are CNC-machined in the U.S. Liquid reels are assembled in Boise alongside the highest priced reels. No other low priced reel can boast as much U.S. content and quality. Nudging out a worthy old war horse like Konic wasn’t easy. It took a blank sheet of paper and sharp electrons.
