This pattern is indispensable- Used in sizes 12-22 and you can match just about any hatch. The Parachute Adams it is primarily used as a mayfly imitation, but can pass for many insects. Great fly in smaller sizes during a midge hatch.

This version of the parachute adams uses calf body for a parachute post, however, turkey flats, antron yarn, or poly yarn could be substituted.
