Lake Crescent Galaxiid

Lake Crescent trout - both rainbows and browns grow huge eating golden galaxiids. They swim slowly and don't move much around the lake. If you see a boil concentrate on that spot, because the fish will be there.

These flies, in black and olive are perfect at representing these small fish that Crescent trout love so much. The sink slowly and should be fished very slowly. They push water and this is exactly what you want in a fly.  

The olive is a great representation for colour, whilst the black stands out better in dirty water, that Crescent is known for.
