This is streamer that was originally tied for Northern pike and is classed as a true killer, in clear and in muddy waters. It was designed by Steffen Schulz, it attracts pike in rivers and lakes all over Europe. Almost any successful angler in the Netherlands knows about this streamer. The black and gold magic might come from a great silhouette against the sky and the golden colours add this extra discrete shimmer. The slim profile could also look like an eel, something that big fish love to eat. If you haven't got a black and gold streamer in you fly selection, id highly recommend adding one. Some people swear by this fly as the only one you need when chasing large freshwater fish. 

This is a great fly choice for Murray Cod and even Barra.
