Its the Easter long weekend this weekend! It is a great time for a get away and a fishing trip. There is lots of good fishing to be had.
Little pine is one area worth a look, the lake is low at the moment due to upgrades on the boat ramp so the edges are a bit muddy but there are plenty of fish in there willing to take your fly.
Head to Great Lake as well, there are lots of good conditioned fish in there too. If you have access to a boat then early morning midge fishing is great fun. Otherwise walking around the edges polaroiding is also great fun. Great Lake fish love dry flies.
Bronte Lagoon is another great option as its fishing well. There are lots of fish in Bronte and there is a big range in fish size in there at the moment from fish of half a kilogram to two kilograms and a few bigger specimens about.
The weather conditions are looking good for the long weekend so head out and wet a line and enjoy your time outside with friends and family this Easter.
