We won this really fab award again! That's 3 awards from the readers of the Total Fly Fisher magazine...
Fly fishing has to be one of the most rewarding methods of fishing for any species. It is the ability to trick a fish into believing that a jumble of old feathers, fur, man made fibre and a bit of flash is the next tasty meal. Whether it is visually an imitation of what they've been eating courtesy of mother nature or merely a prompt to strike, who knows what the fish thinks.
One of the many materials you will use when tying a fly is an adhesive or a varnish. I don't like using solvent based materials and without any real alternative in the UK I decided to develop an alternative. Over a year down the line and a lot of testing I found the answer I was looking for. The answer is in the shape of a photo-activated acrylic which I've called BUG-BOND™
